The front staff was very kind, but I had been told to try the new psychiatrist to the practice. I understand he was new to the practice, but the office visit took over an hour (mostly just sitting in the waiting room and in the exam room by myself, while he tried to figure things out). I tried to be patient, but he was asking me about records from 2018 and didn't really seem to listen to anything I was saying and just what he had in his mind. Demanding and made us feel like we had no choices. Even after we left to go to Penn State, they called several times to make sure we were leaving and now need us to drive in to fill our paperwork (would not mail) so we can get appropriate care with Penn state.

Patient, knowledgeable, and kind. As all care is subjective, keep trying other providers if it doesn’t work for you.

I personally really benefitted from my time with my Therapist. Unfortunately, as I wanted to recommend your services to my Son and wife with children on the autism spectrum, along with their own needs, I discover they don't have the right insurance. You don't accept Medicaid. How are these children and young people supposed to get better and be a helpful part of society? You are among many unwilling to cut your bottom line in order to do the right thing. This is all about UPMC.
