Substandard, borderline unethical care. Constant attempts by Doctors at this UPMC specialty to punt patients with complex chronic illness back to PCPs once levels are "within normal limits", regardless of the severity of remaining symptoms like brain fog,joint pain,insomnia etc.. Constant denial of ordering tests, claiming things like progesterone levels and thyroid antibodie levels don't matter since there's no cure for autoimmune diseases, which is dismissive, degrading and dehumanizing. I am very pleased with the care I've received here.
Learn from my mistake: See Dr. Patel, NOT Dr. Galindo (Carlisle). Dr. Patel ACTUALLY LISTENED TO HOW I FELT and took that into consideration, along with my bloodwork. I've only had one appointment so far, but its a breath of fresh air to be seen by a doctor that is not closeminded.
I have had a great day visiting with my care provider and would highly recommend them ❤️🙏
