If they cared about their customers, they would not have stopped filling propane tanks in Ratón. The guy at the desk was congenial and helpful, and very safety conscious. Then, suddenly, with no warning, they stopped filling bottles last month. Some of us live way out in the country and now the only place to fill a tank is a drive for an hour to Trinidad's Big R, or wait until 2pm when the KOA opens, thus putting a hole in an already busy day. I spoke to Antonio 04/04/2025, about my credit at the time my tank was moved to another location. I called a couple of times with no answer. He solved my problem immediately! I was sent over to Pinnacle at about 4:10 in the afternoon from the KOA after their propane pump broke while I was waiting to get mine filled. As I am unfamiliar with the area, the KOA employee told me Pinnacle is the only other place that fills propane in town & they probably close at 4:30. I drove over to Pinnacle & while the office closes at 4:30, propane fill is usually done at 4. However, the man working was great and filled my tanks for me. I would absolutely recommend stopping here for propane fill!
