The service department is as large as the car lot! They're out to sell you a car, and then tell you everything's wrong with it. The prices on the simplest repairs are absolutely outrageous! Also, It was a big surprise to find out there is a three or four percent charge for using a credit card for payment. How can you feel valued as a customer, when you know they're out to take every dime you've got. Just hard to trust.
Brought my brand new truck (26 Frontier) to Pinnacle Nissan because of a whining/whirring noise at highway speeds under load - which I suspected to be rear differential failure. Their verdict was “Cannot replicate the issue - whatever you’re hearing is normal driving sounds”. He took the time to accurately measure my tread using a physical gauge, double-checked details with his team to ensure all the information was 100% accurate, and printed out clear, transparent quotes with zero sales pressure. Beware of the Service Department. They will lie directly to your face especially if you are woman. I took it in with a specific error code for a transmission issue, which on my Nissan Titan 2020, it's a known electrical issue. But the tech and service manager refused to fix this and told me I needed a full transmission replacement at only 77,000 miles. There is no evidence that the transmission is failing.
