Technician diagnosed the problem and told me it was a bad capacitor causing the unit to short cycle. He replaced the capacitor and was on his way, however I did notice a little packaging debris left in the yard. The repair was quick and done in less than an hour, however the cleanup might be enhanced to make the experience better.
The problem turned out to be a misaligned sensor in the thermostat, which they fixed by recalibrating it and now it functions correctly. While my previous experience with contractors was less than ideal, this technician diagnosed the issue quickly and wrapped up in about 30 minutes.
Very satisfied with St Paul Heating and Air Conditioning. The technician was professional, punctual, and repaired my system efficiently. Great pricing and excellent service overall.
Vents clean now, airflow improved.
