It’s taken me many tries to find a psychiatrist that is good for me. Dr. New was my worst experience with psychiatrists. I barely talked during our hour long session - he asked a few questions about my background / childhood, but otherwise he would only talk about himself and his other patients. I hate to give negative reviews but when it comes to wanting to make progress with your mental health honest reviews are needed. Dr. New started the appointment by pointing out all his accolades on the wall. He then asked me for a childhood background but was not concerned with my issues right now and never offered any plan or solutions to assist me. He stated his negative bias on the people of Idaho and the LDS (Mormon) community more than once. Maybe because I didn’t grow up in Idaho he felt that was appropriate, which it ... read more
