Unprofessional and Misleading Insurance Practices: Horrible experience. We chose Pinnacle Eye Group because they’re close to our home, but we’ll never be back. I’ve had the same insurance (UHC) since I started going there and even double-checked my coverage before making the appointment. Their website still shows Pinnacle Eye Group as an in-network UHC provider as of 9/4/2025. Despite that, my daughter was turned away at her appointment. Went in about a year ago for an exam and glasses. Glasses came in with a defect in the frame. Replacement frame had to be ordered. When replacement frame came in it was not the same size as the original lenses. Then had to wait another 2 weeks for new lenses. On top of that these glasses have never fit right. This facility charges $10 to put some device on your head that allegedly plots the fit. Glasses were loose both times.
