Had goat biryani recently, that was 95% rice… hardly found any meat in it… To your reply : I said no meat, what does 32oz have to do in this…. And yes i posted about 1 other restaurant, which I didnt like… whats wrong in that ?
My husband and I came to Virginia for our anniversary and I’ve always wanted to try Indian food. We found Pink Saffron on the map and decided to try it. I’m SOOOO glad we did!!!! I got the lamb curry ( the lamb was so tender) and he got the tiger prong coconut (they peeled so easily) curry and both were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The garlic flat bread was so good as well. Discovered this Pink gem hidden right behind the mall. This is a place which is different from gamut of Indian restaurants. The whole pink theme and ambience is refreshing so is the food. I made three visit during my stay and each one was pleasant with the warmth extended by the staff.
They were so friendly and helpful. Two of our party had complex food issues and they listened patiently as we explained the issue, offered helpful suggestions and were able to provide delicious off-menu accommodations. As well as fantastic options on the menu.
The food here is incredible. The appetizers were so delicious we were nervous the food would be anticlimactic. It was NOT. The tiger prawns in coconut is a regional specialty that was out of this world. I’m glad we discovered this place. We will be back often.
