This was from 2018, apparently I never finished the draft... I highly recommend the "pink motel" in Cherokee NC if you want to think you are staying at a cool, retro motel but instead end up in a cobweb infested mosquito trap surrounded by drunken bikers beating one another senseless all night. Our 135 lb GSD attacked the door 3x that night. Good times.
