Her ability to emphatically listen, normalize circumstances, provide practical insight, and relate in a therapeutically advantageous way while anlso adding in humor is quite impressive. Katie has a warm and friendly manner and I found it easy to open up to her for help. She was so quick to respond in ways that kept me optimistic and confident. I like how she used verbal games to help me do some introspection and self reflection. She listened to me without cutting me off and helped me get my thoughts and emotions sorted out. I have had other counselors who I didn't feel important to, but Katie really helped me feel like I mattered.

I really went back and forth as to whether or not I should post a review. After thumbing through my old emails- I decided I should. My experience with Katie was mixed, but - I have to say I left on a very bad note. I saw her for several years and after I finally felt like I was at a stand still, she basically handed me off to a new counselor in my most vulnerable time of need.
