I had an excellent time on the river. It is one of the prettiest Rivers I’ve ever kayaked. The people are friendly and helpful. Definitely a great birthday float!

I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt after a previous bad experience. We came back because we love that the Piney is a more technical float. But sadly it was the same poor experience. We showed up 20 minutes early and the same man who was gruff with us the first time we used them barked at us asking if we were ready yet…..20 minutes early. 2 of the the 7 of our party had to rent equipment and there was zero communication as to where to check in, what to do, etc. And it was the same at the put in. I had an awesome time kayaking, decided to take the day off from work and did a solo trip. Sign in registration was easy. Staff was superb, definitely will come back.

Beautiful river access. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They do have electric hook up but not water. The bath house is small but clean. The water was hot and the pressure was good. We went kayaking and they took us to the drop off immediately upon paying. You float back to the campground. We make it a point to go here every year.
