I had a reservation at this campground for July 17-19 for a group of about 20 people. This was going to be our first time here, and we were so excited because it looks amazing and is exactly our style. Unfortunately that weekend the entire state was bombarded with wildfire smoke making the air extremely hazardous for all. This was not an easy decision, as we only get one weekend a year to spend altogether. Fabulous!
I have been camping here since I was a kid. Now my kids and their kids are camping here. We love tubing the river and all of the walking and biking trails. The host this year has been spectacular as we celebrated our daughter’s wedding in the picnic area. Always a great time.
First off, what a little hidden gem! This campground is secluded! Its small, about 32 spots, and all primitive with nice fire rings, most have lantern hooks, and are clean. There is one main toilet area that has flush toilets, and was very clean! There are no showers at this campground. The camp hostess, Rebecca, was great!
