Pine Plains Veterinary has been amazing. The front desk staff is very courteous and helpful. Dr. Kalba has been beyond helpful. I am very grateful to her, she explains everything in detail, cost wise and treatment wise. She has been very helpful with my two ill eleven year old dogs.
I met with Dr. Eve and found her very thorough and caring. I was sent an email after my visit about what we discussed. I appreciated the email because I usually forget half of the info. I am told.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Pine Plains Veterinary. My little Maltese, Dominique, can be... let's just say she isn't always the easiest patient. Despite that, every single member of the staff treats her with incredible patience, kindness, and compassion. They never make us feel rushed or judged, and they always take the time to help Dominique feel as comfortable as possible. After second guessing my normal vet in Chatham who claimed my dog was fine, I took my dog here and was devastated to learn that he has a very serious medical issue that is glaringly obvious to a veterinarian (a giant mass in his belly). Thankfully the doctors and nurses at Pine Plains Vet diagnosed it immediately with care and kindness and we’re currently awaiting surgery, etc. This is the kind of care our pets deserve. Recommend this vet!
