Service in the hospitality industry has pretty much vanished. Larry... He brings it to how it should be, above and beyond. I was exhausted. Hungry. No delivery in the area. Larry ... What an angel. Told me where to order and actually delivered my food!!! Wow. I'd give more stars of I could. Fantastic service. Friendly. Kind. You don't get that too much anymore Highly recommend. Would highly recommend! Usually we are an IHG hotel guest but wanted a central location with some charm. The Pines is perfect. Beautiful view, easy in and out, parking right at the room, kitchen just like at home ( just no junk food) and a very comfortable bed (I felt like I was at home). I was laughing at all the Ontario cars in the parking lot, had to keep reminding myself we were in PEI.
We stayed here September 22, 2025 and it was fantastic. Starting with the greeting and exceptional customer service to location and the very cute renovated room that had comfy beds with beautiful quilts, lots of space, clean, lots of towels and all the amenities needed. But most of all the view out the front door/window. The price was great and it was centrally located but in such a nice, quiet area.
Great place to stay - I would recommend this motel. We stayed in one of the motel rooms last week; it had everything we needed and was conveniently located near all the interesting/key places to visit. The property was well kept, so it was also nice to sit and relax outside with a beverage and meal on days we felt like taking it easy. Thanks for having us, Larry.
