I'm not one to complain. I never have issues with places I live...and I lived in some sketchy places. Pinehurst is the worst. The day I was to move in they didn't have the apartment ready for me. I took off a day of work to move in and because they didn't have it ready until late that night I didn't get to move in until a week later. I still had to pay for it though it was their mistake. We are not allowed to store ANYTHING but SPECIFIC patio furniture on our balconies/patios, as of a few weeks ago, but nothing is done about people with bags of trash on their balconies, their doorsteps, the mailboxes, etc.--it is RIDICULOUS, and we are expected to pay way too much to deal with this crap!
This leasing office definitely pulled a bait-and-switch with me! I signed a lease, under the impression that certain amenities would be made available soon (new laundry room, fitness center), and within the week, I was told that they didn't know when they would be available. The leasing staff is also VERY rude!!!
Apartments have thin walls. Bad parking. Maintenance is poor. Rent has increased by $100 per month. There have been a couple of large fires in the past year or so. They charge pet rent and if you are a compassionate person and feed the strays, the apartments will bring legal action against you. Do not consider living here, look for something else. You’ve been warned.
I moved into this lovely apartment complex 5 years ago. Walgreens bought it and quickly took away all the listed "extras" within a year. Rents increased and the property became a firetrap! 5 fires in less than 3 years! Shootings, break ins, and god knows what else! These are a matter of public record so ease check these out!! The property now wants to increase the rent again! Run save yourself!! Don't rent here!
