Charming retro motel room, comfy bed with ensuite fridge and kettle at an affordable price. Beautiful location.
Next to a busy road so very noisy. Room smelled of mould and bed sheets were mouldy. Very dated rooms. My ribs hurt after trying to sleep on an extremely uncomfortable mattress. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 night. Would stay away at all costs. So many other nicer motels around.
What a lovely helpful couple who now run this motel and the garage attached. We were looking for something to eat at 8.00 pm but the nearby pub didn’t do food so we went looking for shops or anywhere open. We went into the motel thinking their restaurant may be open but that too was closed, the young couple were going home for the night and knowing our dilemma asked us would we like him to open up ( the garage cafe ) and make us fish and chips !!
