The whole story... – For those people reading this review, I think it is only fair that you know the whole story. This boat was dropped off with a power trim problem. On a trim issue it could be one of three scenarios. The easiest to check would be the power trim pump…it was OK. The next more difficult are the wires coming from the pump to the lower unit itself. watch out or you will get screwed at Pinecrest Marine – Beware of Pinecrest Marine (Fisher, IN), they will try to overcharge you if given the opportunity. I took my boat in to confirm the power trim switch was bad and get an estimate to replace it. The estimate came in at $360. Thinking that seemed high for a minor switch replacement, I checked with an out of area marina to find out how much the trim switch would cost. I was told $60-65. I then asked how much to install?
