The room was not clean. The air conditioner had a black substance in it and we had to clean it as much as we could before we turned it on. The walls are thin and we were awakened by noises and banging early into the morning. Not a good value for the price. Spend a little more to be in one of the more reputable Motels in the area.
Nice and Quiet
Lipstick on a pig! The air conditioner! So very hot. It is a wall unit. No central AC. Especially in the hot months this can be horrific. A sloppy job of retro-fitting a chic boutique hotel over an aged building. The pool area is nothing to write home about. It is secluded, even though it’s near the street. The screen in the bathroom was broken. Spiders and bugs. Floor boards that slant and creak. And the bathtub is slanted too. The hot water works! Location is probably the only reason I would book this again. The rooms were dated, and very, very dirty. The bathroom window had so many bugs in it, and the room smelt like “old person” smell. There was barely enough towels, and the bed was very uncomfortable. For the price paid, it was not worth it. The pool was filled with bugs, and just overall dirty. The wood around the pool was filled with bugs. Many wasps around the whole place, I wouldn’t recommend bringing anyone who has a wasp/bee allergy here.
Such a cute spot! Perfect location- close enough to town to walk but right out of the way of the crowds. The staff is so friendly and casual, the pool is nice, you can see the lake from our deck, and there’s a cool creek in the back. There is a fire pit and picnic area where we will be having dinner tonight.
