I have nothing against the Pine Rivers Hospital but Dr Sanjeev Ranjan is appalling .
The outpatient team, including day program staff, and the psychologists I've crossed paths with over the last year are very down to earth, knowledgable, and humane in the way they practice; they treat you like a person, an individual who matters.

I have been inpatient many times at various facilities, but I have never had such a positive experience to share as I did with pine rivers. They treat you like a human being, they actually approach you and talk to you if they notice you are struggling and overall I never once felt as though I was a burden to them by being there. A 6 month waiting list for the staff to screw up every time I have been admitted. Pathetic doctors that don’t tell you when they change your meds. Incompetent administration that lose referrals, push back administration dates and don’t communicate. Only 2 psych appointments that doesn’t have enough time to achieve anything. Go somewhere else if you care about your mental health. This place needs to be taken back to the drawing board. Public system is much better than this place. Don’t waste your time or money.
