Lived there a few years. More and more rules in place, but what really annoyed me was when I was leaving after selling my home there, I wrote a letter to Rochelle thanking her for the years I was there and never even received a response from her. Very disappointing. I thought I would have received a reply but, nope. Not one word from her. What a shame.
Although I love living in Whiting, I will say if you're thinking of moving into this mobile home park... I would think twice. I've lived here for almost 2 years now. The first year they raised my lot rent 7% but yet they dropped the security guard, so we no longer have a security guard. And this year they raised my rent 6% and they dropped the bus service to the stores. So they keep dropping things that they used to offer you and they raise your lot rent way too much! My parents bought a (fixer upper) there June 2023 and they have nothing but problems with management. They have a corner lot and surrounded by all new lots where they're building brand new mobile homes. From day one it was quite obvious they wanted my parents out so they can knock down there home and build a brand new one. They refused my father's rent multiple times and than tack on extraordinary lawyer fees almost doubling a months worth of rent.
