Great vet. Friendly staff, and very helpful with the information we needed.
I contacted this VET with a medical emergency. My 2 year old male doberman was unresponsive and vomiting believed to be bitten by a snake. I immediately called Pine Mountain Vetenary and explained my situation. Due to the time of the year I am flat broke so I am not able to pay until later in the week but as soon as the receptionist heard this she forgot about my dog and his situation and proceedes to ask me to make a VetLoan application that comes with a minimum charge of $300 and a 20% downpayment. Was charged $159 for extended consultation ! I’d argue I was in there 15 minutes in which another worker came into room and chatted with vet about something completely different . The vet done the usual feel around on the sore leg and possible scenario . Gave my little dog a needle to help for next 24hrs. Totalling just under $250 . Receptionists said “ I think a standard consult is 10 minutes 🫣, have never beeN charged extended consultation at any other vet ever !!
