Disrespectful, Unprofessional Management – We Will Not Return Our recent stay at Sunset Pines in Backes, MN was unfortunately overshadowed by a completely unacceptable and unprofessional incident involving the campground’s ownership. My 14-year-old nephew and my 10-year-old son were quietly fishing across the lake when a woman—apparently claiming to own part of the property—began yelling at them to leave. We stayed 4 nights. It was very clean, friendly. They provide kayaks, paddle boats, canoes at no extra charge. There are beautiful play areas for children. Great place to stay
We had the privilege of being guests at this resort and let me tell you, this was nothing short of an amazing getaway weekend. The staff, the resort, the cleanliness of the cabin, and the friendly neighborhood vibe was everything we could’ve asked for and more!
