Beautiful resort!!!! Mike gave us a great last minute deal that he states “it will be worth your wild”…. And he did NOT disappoint. Resort was clean! Cabin was clean! Lake was PERFECT!!!! My boys loved the fishing!!! Tons of bass, northerns, and sunnies for sure!!! Water was beautiful and calm. We have thee perfect weather!!! Not alot of mosquitoes. We definitely would love to come back and fish again!! Thanks for a great weekend!
Disrespectful, Unprofessional Management – We Will Not Return Our recent stay at Sunset Pines in Backes, MN was unfortunately overshadowed by a completely unacceptable and unprofessional incident involving the campground’s ownership. My 14-year-old nephew and my 10-year-old son were quietly fishing across the lake when a woman—apparently claiming to own part of the property—began yelling at them to leave. I like this place. Not to big not too small. Like that we can rent a pontoon (could be nicer). Beach. Pool. Main hall. Laundry (slow small). Great bathroom/ shower. Decent camping sites. Family owned. I'll be back. Close to enough bars/ restaurants/ trails/ golf/ meat shop etc...
Beautiful grounds, nice camping spots, cabins. Owners and employees are super nice and accommodating!
Great resort. Wonderful people running it. We will be back
