A great little campground- park is clean and so are showers and laundry. Lots of retired locals frequent the bar- adding to interesting and freindly conversations. Store closes at 5 PM but has pretty much everything needed. We stayed in section C-1 had water and electric and room to set up our pop up canopy. Great paddle boarding early morning before wind picks up. Regret not bringing bikes or electric scooters.
This place is a little run down and grubby Now it is right on pine hollow reservoir and you can rent a beat up houseboat or a beat up fishing boat. They say they have a Wi-Fi service but it hardly works, and data here is spotty. But I've been here a week and there has been overflowing garbage always, some rodent issues, and some people have trouble controlling their noise at night. If you can work around these things you'll have a great time here.
Great area for a camping weekend. Restaurant on site. Good vibes fur sure!
