1. Lied to about exam price. 2. Diagnosed the WRONG tooth. 3. Was not willing to work with me about billing for an exam that was useless, false and unjustified. So sad to be taken advantage of when your child is in pain.
I had an appointment at 1pm on Christmas Eve which I verified that morning with an unpleasant "Sonya" I arrive at the appointment and no one is there! The doors were locked, I called and left a voice mail no response. I've never had bad service from a dental office before. They had no issue calling me OVER and OVER earlier that day about a cancelation but couldn't bother to let me know they wouldn't be in the office. Amateur office from the sound and looks of the place.
Sure, their orthodontics are cheaper than anywhere else...and there is a reason for that. If I hadn't paid in full ahead of time, (and less than halfway through they claim to have already used all $2200 of my money as well as the insurance claims) my son would be seeing someone else! I'm sick of the loose wires because they forget to put rubberbands around brackets and springs. Also, took my daughter here for sealants, they messed them up and she got cavities underneath them. My wife visited this dentist who told her she needed thousands of dollars in dental work. She went to get a second opinion and was told none of the work he recommended was necessary. My wife also asked them specifically not to perform any work not covered by our insurance; they did anyway, and threatened to send us to collections if we did not pay. I would not trust this dentist to brush my teeth.
Over the last few months I have had nothing but issues with the Pine Creek Dental's billing department. They seem unable or unwilling to work with me in providing an itemized statement detailing what (if anything) is owed. PCD refuses to contact me directly concerning the issue excluding the occassional past due notice.
This dental clinic is excellent. They have top of the line equipment, doctors, and nurses.
