Ridiculous wating times yet the waiting room isn't even half full. 9hr waiting time because the hospital is closed and waiting for places for open to send people? This is the hospital how does that make any sense???
Admitted on 10.9.25 via amazing ambulance crew into A E with symptoms of a stroke. Stroke nurse was awaiting to see me. Taken straight for a CT scan and then admitted into the stroke assessment ward. I cant thank those nurses enough. Same night moved onto a ward. Again first class service from the nurses on shift. The drs and consultant and the therapists were so good at looking after me. ☆☆☆☆ Terrible experience, especially during the night. If you arrive after 7pm, you can expect at least a 12-hour wait. As a support worker, I’m here quite often and the issues are consistent. The staff are unhelpful and dismissive, with very little communication about what’s happening. When you ask questions, you’re often met with rude or defensive responses instead of basic information.
