Really like this store The staff at Pinch a Penny are great. We get our pool chlorine from there and they are all very nice. As soon as I walk through the door, someone is there to help me. They are smiling and are very pleasant. They take the filled chlorine back out for me so I don't have to carry it and they put it in my vehicle. I am very impressed with the service. Pool maintenance made easy Clean pool company with very friendly, knowledgeable staff. They provide pool water testing for free. Just simply bring in a sample of your water in the bottle they provide free of charge and they will do a complete computer analysis with recommendations which is all printed out for you. They sell all the needed chemicals at a very reasonable price and even load them into your car for you. They also sell other fun pool and patio items. Highly recommend. PROS: Clean, friendly CONS: none
Poor service, I would not use the Jupiter Pinch a Penny again I recently scheduled Pinch a Penny to fix my pool drain which has come undone, and after numerous calls and promises from them that they will take care of it, Pinch a Penny has not come by to fix it. I would not use their services again.
Won't Use Ever Again The employees working for Pinch A Penny are very kind and professional; however, the ownership is terrible. I hired Pinch a Penny to install a new filter for my pool. Shortly after installation, the filter was not functioning properly so I called them back out. They came out and said the "core" piece of my filter was cracked and needed to be replaced. Janet in Jax Pool service is just awful - the sides were never brushed down, the top never skimmed. Service was on Monday, so we had to clean it ourselves before use on the weekend. Would come home from work Monday night to find in same condition as we left it Sunday. We had to give them a credit card to charge monthly service. This pool store is great! I love this store. As a new pool homeowner, I was unable to learn how to operate the pump and filter from the previous owner. I was completely ignorant to the subject of owning a pool. Never fear! I went to this Pinch a Penny store. On my first visit, I felt very comfortable asking my "dumb" questions. All your pool needs.. You can find everything you need for the pool here. I go here for chlorine because it's cheaper than Wal-Mart. The hours are great for a place like this too- they stay open until 6 p.m. I like how they have cool toys for the pool too! The workers are always helpful and friendly. Good center Since having moved to a different location, I have been using Pinch A Penny, and I found they have outstanding service. They test chemicals, make recommendations, and offer a free jug of chlorine with each 10 purchased. Good company.
Good pool partner! The Pool Depot is a "one man band" operation. Chris runs a professional and dependable pool maintenance company. He installed a new pump for our pool at a more reasonable rate and in a more timely fashion than the bigger name pool places. Chris also cared for our pool on a weekly basis and kept it crystal clear without increasing his prices everytime the bill came. I would recommend highly!
