I was just @ one of your stores in Orange City Florida. The number on the building says 831-1. My mistake, I honestly did not see the sign that said pinch a penny only. I take ownership! However, when I walked out to my car, “Moe” came running up to my window, 1st making a snide comment of “oh good, you speak English” then proceeding to yell @ me, threatening the cops & tow company & outright called me a bitch! Don’t waste your time with this place . They pretty much took our money and didn’t give a Damm when we had an issue. Pool medic is right down the road they actually know what they’re doing and care .
Last Saturday I was getting my water tested and was told I should get some chlorine tablets too. The salesman said just throw 1 or 2 in your pool and it will help keep your chlorine levels good. I said ok I'll take some. He showed me where they were and I grabbed a bucket. What he failed to mention was I needed a dispenser too because it will damage your vinyl cover. My friend recommended her for me because I was looking for where to get a real full service and good body massage, I texted her and she responded immediately then explained the process to get manager approval since they don’t accept walk-in again, I did it and got approved then went there, Kate offered me a very good full service and B2B massage. Highly recommend.
I recently had a leak in the pool pump and needed it fixed quickly. I was worried because my neighbor using another company recently had to wait a week to get someone out to fix their pump. But Elvis came the next day. He did the job very well and quickly. He also explained to me how to drain the pool…I am new to this pool…Thank you!
Rude owner and manager. I see I’m not the only one to experience these issues. Why they feel it appropriate to gossip about a customer not only in front of that customer but other customers as well blows my mind. I used to shop at sparkle bright but unfortunately the owner sold to Leslie’s who I dislike as they provide little to no training for the employees. Left a review on Pinch a penny about their non response to my problem on google, and they responded they misplaced my info. Strange, cause that's what happened last time I tried to get them to do some work. It's really strange cause I've been a customer there for over 15 years, so they have to have my info, buying chlorine, getting my water tested, but yet they misplaced my info. Well, needless to say, you've lost a steady customer, cause I'll never be back, and I will bad mouth you forever.
First time getting serviced, my greeting was if he would have to ring the bell every time as I told him I would open gate and put the dog away. I told him if he comes every scheduled day at the same time no, I would have dog put away and gate opened. Otherwise he would have to knock. Just bought a house in the area. It has a pool and we were looking for a service to help keep it clean. We tried Pinch A Penny and were not very impressed. They didn't keep promises, they always seemed like they were in a hurry to move on to the next pool, and they didn't even show up sometimes. We questioned how clean out pool was getting. We chose another company, Star Pools and Spa, and they are the total opposite. In fact SPS found that our $500 filter was never cleaned!
