I went in today and had a water test done, a girl I believe her name was Simone, gave me the best service and advice for my pool. She was very professional and polite, and made my first time at the establishment less stressful as a first time pool owner!
UPDATE: Exactly what we expected from their response. No surprise there. Just wanted to fairly warn all you good people about this particular store. They are very pleasant when you are in the store and purchasing their products or signing up for pool maintenance. So we were shocked at how horrible they were when they ruined our pavers. WARNING! Had their pool service for about two months and specifically called twice to request no service for the following week due to scheduled paver sealing. A third conversation also included the same request. Despite this, they showed up approximately two hours after the sealing—while the surface was still wet—causing stains and damage to the pavers. I have used Pinch a Penny for the past year in 2024 and they have been ok. They are very reliable and they do respond quickly when you bring up an issue which is great. However I noticed that their cleaning service quality has dropped over the past several of months. I also started to testing the pool water quality the last few weeks and found the levels were off. Decided to go in a different direction in 2025.
