Years ago this place stood on the cutting edge of art pottery. Now, it's pretty run-of-the-mill, wares you can find anywhere and could 10 years ago. MEH. It's declined just like Northampton itself.
Every day I have my morning coffee in a mug I got at Pinch some 15 or more years ago. I pop in whenever I am in Northampton, and always walk out with something unique. I've always found the staff to be friendly but not pushy, and they can provide a complete backstory on the artists. Over the years I've bought wine openers, wallets, jewelry, lighting, and of course, pottery.
Continues to be one of the best gift ever - I never get tired of going in here and finding special gifts. Definitely check it out!
I love going to Pinch - it's one of those unique stores that always lifts my spirits. With such a wonderful variety of cool and beautiful pieces - many handmade - all have something a little unique about them - and the staff are lovely. Thank you! A must for any trip to Northampton!
Pinch is my absolute favorite for gifts!
