Had a great time exploring Pinawa and the Alice Chambers trail with our snow shoe rentals! The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about what the best trails in the area were for all experience levels. Was the perfect add on to our winter vacation
One of the kayaks we rented had a hole in it and was half full of water halfway through our route, creating a dangerous situation. We had to turn back immediately, ending the trip and dealing with soaked clothes. We contacted the owners right away, and they initially said they would refund the cost of that kayak. After following up multiple times, they never issued the refund. This place seems to care more about keeping money than customer safety or satisfaction. If something goes wrong, you’re on your own.
One of the best things to do in Manitoba! Water is great, people are fantastic and lots of laughing. See wild life along the way. Don't forget your cooler! Unfortunately, I seemed to be the recipient of a kayak with a leak. My entire kayak filled with water and I had to bail the entire time. Extremely disappointed in the equipment which is old and paddles are too short!
