The gas station charged $151 to my credit card in addition to the $38 I spent on gas with no prior warning. When confronted, they claimed it was a "hold fee". I reported the charge as fraud when I saw the transaction and had to close and replace my credit card, leaving me without a credit card on an out of state road trip. I also filed a police report, resulting in multiple phone calls and wasted time. Not happy with Pilot Flying J.

Today is 12/30/2025 stopped to take a shower and get so food to go. So to be respectful to everyone else I sat my shower bag down by the back entrance and went to wendys and got my food. Came back into the travel store area to get a coffee to go as well then I heard the manager or whoever he was ask a customer was that his shower bag and they said no.
