Yikes! I can't recommend Bri Fanning and the Pilot Insurance Center. I filled out the initial quote form accurately and disclosed a very specific medical condition. I got a great initial quote and decided to apply. Once the underwriter had my medical records and the condition was further reviewed, Bri confirmed that the final price shouldn't be much different than the original quote. Surprise! Super helpful for finding life insurance with the complexities of not only being a private pilot but also other complex situations (SCUBA, Mountaineering, etc). They found dramatically better rates and got me and my wife insured despite those complexities.
Hard to find good prices on life insurance for pilots. Even AOPAs group policy is not that great. Pilot Insurance Center brokered a great deal on a standard term policy that was comparable in price to most non-pilot policies.
They did a fantastic job securing a new Life Insurance policy for me after I decided to take up flying. I was struggling to get answers from my prior policy company regarding options and in the end PIC made it easy and affordable to replace my policy.
