First, they never returned my FOUR calls for delivery scheduling, then the driver DUMPED the 100lb+ package (large patio table) ON THE SIDE of the ROAD by my mailbox which is OVER 100 YARDS from my house. I have a very clear driveway (with easy pull-through) up to the house, but the driver was too damn lazy to bring my package up to the house. I have NO WAY of getting this heavy box to my house! Pilot Freight is horrible. Unprofessional, no communication. They completely destroyed our antique desk in shipping. Plus they left it in alley and wouldn't deliver into building despite us paying additional for this. We filed a damage claim form 5 months ago with no answer. They don't answer phone ever or emails . The worst company ever. Don't use. I would use a pack mule before I would use Pilot Freight . To date I've never found a positive review of this company. Placed an order for a television December 21, 2020. Received a call today, January 12,:2021, the day my wife took off of work for the delivery scheduled for sometime between 11am and 6pm. The caller simply said that the delivery would not be here and was handed off to another shipper. What the f... so now we have another week, among it a just days shy of a month for a delivery which started with an order at Sam’s club of a TV. Shittiest delivery company I have had to deal with in the nearly 60 years of my life.
I had n issue with delivery...the morning the package was to come (which was scheduled 3 days prior) we got a call it wasn't going to come. Sara Willoughby came through for us...she had it scheduled the very next day and we did not have to reschedule for after the weekend. Way to go Sara! Great service. Promote people like her! Paul L.
