I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Dr. Rafailov and nurse Maria. Maria went over and beyond for us. She answered every question or concern I had about my son's surgery immediately. She also worked tirelessly with my Insurance Co.- which she did not have to do since they are oon. My son had 2 failed surgeries prior, until I found Dr. Rafailov which he did Cleft Lift in December. I highly recommend the Pilonidal Treatment Center of NJ. After two years of my son dealing with pilonidal disease, I decided he should have the cleft lift procedure and made an appointment at the Pilonidal Treatment Center of NJ. Our initial visit with Dr. Rafailov was most reassuring as he was knowledgeable, direct, encouraging and accommodating. Staff and doctor are very friendly and responsive. Loved that Maria would text- made getting information and questions answered very simple. We asked lots of questions and never felt like we were annoying them. Their Cleft Surgery is down to a science. Had it done in Hackettstown hospital. The nurse there provided lots of instructions...said they do a few each Wednesday there- They were a great team and you can tell they were very experienced. Recovery time was quick with the drain. The team at PTCNJ is very professional. Surgery went well and I’m glad I made the decision to move forward with it. Maria was very helpful/ responsive in the time leading up to the surgery and during recovery, which made living out of state much less of a concern. I’d highly recommend facility/ staff to anyone with this issue.
