I recently completed their 90 day program, and am now transitioned into a sober living house. Before going into treatment, I was in a really bad place physically, mentally, and spiritually, but since then, I am no longer homeless, miserable, or putting myself or others in danger. I communicate with family and friends daily rather than living in complete isolation. I'm getting my life back in order one step/day at a time. I am no longer living in FEAR. I will be forever grateful to have been given the opportunity for recovery... read more
I only did the out patient program here, not the full residential detox so I will only be speaking to my experience with the out patient program. I have too many good things to say about Pillars. The staff seems to genuinely care about each individual patient but they also won't sugar cote everything and tell you "everything's going to be alright". I had the best experience at Pillars. Everyone from the staff, nurses, doctors to the owners were very helpful and great to work with. The amenities are exemplary so that you can take the time there to focus on yourself. Plenty of exercise, personal time to self review and relax after group sessions and one on one sessions. I truly believe you get out what you put in and pillars gave me so many tools I use every single day. Thank you. I recommend to anyone who is scared or skeptical to seriously consider pillars.
This place is AWFUL. Look into Windward Way. Windward Way is the absolute best dual diagnosis treatment in the area. I say this out of my experiences with both places. Pillars cares about location & not what they have to offer when it comes down to treatment. They have unqualified group facilitators. I couldn't believe the way my case managers/staff had spoken to me. & everytime I voiced my concerns, I was belittled. Please don't give them your money, because that is ALL they are after.
I came to Pillars lost and broken, not knowing what was wrong besides being an alcoholic. Through the guidance I recieved I wasn't healed, because my disease won't just leave but I was able to learn to live happy and be ok with myself without the use of drinking. I owe my happiness and sobriety to everyone here for what they've taught me about how to live.
