Both our children have danced at the studio in both the recreational and competitive classes. Our experience has been positive. Our daughter has become a very confident and beautiful dancer at this studio. She has won numerous awards and scholarships at the regional and national level. Our son does not like the pressure of competitive dance but enjoys the hip hop and break dancing opportunities to learn at his own pace. have two granddaughters in different classes--both learned so much, very professional teachers, very professional lessons. One girl 3 and one girl 15 and both classes were age appropriate, dances were age appropriate, and now our grandson is starting this session. He can't wait. The recital was very well done. Great place for kids.

Spent over four months at this studio and it was a terrible experience. Instruction was terrible. Small male teacher was extremely rude to the children. Owner dishonest. If you pay with cash, she will claim she never got it. Her daughter was a nightmare to other dancers and parents. Only bright spot was Ms. Kelly, she was very nice. Funniest part is that the studio claims to be the premier dance studio and the owner and studio is a laughing stock in the community. Don't waste your money. Teachers are ill-trained and are not positive. Criticize children instead of positive reinforcement. Actually heard a teacher (that is now the director) telling girls that they were overweight and should diet - the owner does this to her own daughter constantly. Initial contact is very positive and the studio looks and sounds wonderful but there is constant unrest amongst the staff and owner. Honesty is not a priority. Unprofessional owner and employees. Employees lack education but are full of drama. If dance required teachers to have background checks, this studio would be in BIG trouble. If you care about who your child is around, avoid this studio. Favortism is shown to relatives, and those that do everything the owner requests. This studio cares more about big trophies (many that are bought versus earned), rhinestones, and fakeness.... than about the art of dance. Avoid!

All the owner does is talk bad about the other dance studios in town. Make sure you pay with check, because if you pay in cash they deny receiving it.

The P2Dance Academy (Pilchuck Dance Academy) has provided my daughter with quality dance instruction while at the same time, helping her coordination and self-esteem. My daughter has been a part of the school for several years now and we could not be more pleased with the quality of instruction and the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this business to those who want nothing but the best in a dance studio location.
