I’ve only been on labor/delivery and post partum floor so I can’t speak on anything else. I am so grateful I chose to have my baby here. It was a bit of a travel for me, but the nurses were so patient and compassionate. The anesthesiologist was phenomenal. I had my first at a different hospital and was traumatized. Do not, under any circumstances, go to their podiatry department for an ingrown toenail. My FIRST appointment with them was last April, the nurse practitioner did not wait for my toe to be fully numbed by the lidocaine before she started operating. The second appointment in mid April went fine in terms of no pain, but the wound NEVER. HEALED. Love Pikeville Medical Center, we drive over and hour because of the outstanding treatment we receive, you feel like a patient and not a number. All staff that we have encountered is friendly and helpful.

Awful so I have been there 3 times 2 for surgery and I'll start with the staff, unprofessional rude and uncaring now i get it's just a job to most but when you cause unneeded pain to a patient that's a issue. 2nd the staff take no responsibility for their actions they falsified medical documents for patient charts including mine. 3rd lack of overall knowledge and performance is shocking and last there was too many medical staff attempting to deal with a common issue that to much false information and some information wasn't ... read more
