I think you must have misunderstood what the tellers said to you. This PPCU branch in Woodland Park is hands-down THE BEST bank I have ever been a member of. Everyone who works there is always smiling and in a good mood. I have never had any of them tell me what to do with my money. Transactions are always quick and painless, and everyone there always goes out of there way to help me if I have a problem.
