About this business
A native Georgian, Pete Pike became interested in the nursery business in the mid-1950s. He started his business with three employees and a 200 ft. by 200 ft. location on Highway 41 in Marietta, Georgia. Times were so hard in those days that he and his employees borrowed water and restroom facilities from the gas station next door. Today, Pike Nurseries is comprised of 400 employees in the peak seasons at 15 retail stores in Atlanta and Charlotte, a landscape installation/design service and a planting service.

Toco Hill store big liars. I ordered on line the new collection for fall, Violas and Pansy, the colors they try to sale to me where different then ordered. instead of bright red showed in advertisement, they try to give me Brown, saying it will be red in the sun. they did not have color max in stock, so they replace it with other color that i did not want, then they try to sale me pricier flowers. thank you for wasting my time.
RecommendedThis morning I called and asked for help choosing plants for several, large, outdoor containers and to have them delivered. Rya (sp?) was so very helpful and kind! I have lived in Metro Atlanta all my life and Pikes has always been my favorite nursery.
The store is Always inspiring , helpful and clean. Sal does a great job managing the store!
