My son is level three autistic and ever since Christina slowly started doing his hair. She made him feel good and comfortable gave him space we started off with the special appointment sensory appointments and now we’re up to going into a normal chair and he’s ready it took time but every time got easier love the staff always welcoming. But I love the fact that they have sensory slots for appointments to make the haircutting experience easier for your child
My son is autistic/non-verbal, and Kristina is amazing with him. We’ve visited the salon since my son was 1 and he is now 6. She has developed a trusting relationship with him to where haircuts are a breeze. He is able to have a full haircut service and it looks great every time. The environment of the entire salon is just friendly and welcoming. They have an amazing play area for while you wait and to entertain the smaller kids during the haircut. Took my daughter there and my wife to get some haircuts. Staff is friendly and inviting, and the vibe is very chill. This is key for parents who have children who have a hard time sitting still. They work with them, not force them. As a parent it’s comforting to see this. We spent a bit more because my daughter wanted to buy some stuff at the little store they have.
They did my daughters chlorine treatment and her hair is very soft now. Because she has straight hair there’s not really many places for her, but this place is really good. They have gentle kid, friendly, and hair products there to buy for you personally.
I appreciate Kee and Janine so much! Kee cut my son’s hair and had so much patience with him. Janine was also very welcoming and made sure my kids were accommodated! We will be back!
