We stopped by to ask a few questions about getting our baby’s ears pierced. Unfortunately, Sam, the lady who helped us, came across as dismissive and not very friendly. As first-time parents, we were simply looking for information, but we left feeling like our questions were an inconvenience. Customer service goes a long way, especially when families are making decisions for their little ones. Sadly, based on our experience, we won’t be coming back.

Their posted hours say they open at 9:00 AM on the front door, their website, and Google. I arrived right at 9:00 AM, only to find the business closed. It does have a clock on the door that says back at 10am but why leave the posted hours everywhere else with the wrong hours! Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time this has happened on a different day and different time. I’ve shown up during their posted business hours before and found them closed then, too. Ms Sam C is amazing! I can’t thank her enough for being so kind. I dropped in just to see if I could have my son practice sitting and pretend to do a haircut since he has had meltdowns with haircuts in the past. He’s been getting better with haircuts at home and I felt it was time to ease him into going to the hair salon again. He did great! And thank you again, Ms Sam C!

We arrived 8 minutes late and politely asked if she could still cut my son’s hair. She immediately said we were too late. I mentioned that the sign says there is a 10-minute grace period, and Samantha responded that even though it says 10 minutes, they only allow 5. We completely understand if she wasn’t able to fit us in, and we wouldn’t have had a problem rescheduling. The issue wasn’t the missed appointment, it was her attitude. She came across dismissive. Sam Carlton was the best. We have been to several places for our young child and no one was able to get him to sit still and give him a great haircut. Sam was very patient and understanding. My child is a huge wiggler and screamer so the fact she was able to calm him down and use the clippers while he kept twisting around was impressive. I definitely recommend this place for children who have a lot of sensory issues and hate getting their done.
