Yeah the QR stuff is not the way for me. This place was perfect before, and the new service both in speed and quality is just not doing justice to the food and beer here. This along with what seems like an AI response to everyone saying they liked the QR codes better is just turning me off this place. It was a perfect neighborhood brewery before.
We absolutely love Nouvelle and have been here almost once a month for the last year. The food is amazing + their beer is top notch!! Rating four stars because they recently switched from QR code order-as-you-wish to full service. We loved coming here for a quick beer and loved the order at your own pace service. Cmon - nobody actually wanted to do away with the QR codes. If management received feedback stating otherwise they should have ignored it. Nouvelle was our favorite brewery in Minneapolis for years. Phenomenal food and beers, and even though a bit pricey compared to other local breweries, the shear convenience of the QR codes made it worth it us. Really original food that has so many unique flavors. Haven't had food this original and tasty in a long time. I was living under a rock apparently. Been here twice in the last week. Food is so good I ordered two entrees on my second visit. The chicken thigh sandwich and the Broadway Burger were out of this world. Italian choppen salad, truffle fries, and hummus, also excellent! Been going here 2-3 times a month for YEARS. Always loved it. But this recent change to waitstaff instead of QR code/toasttab was a terrible idea. Never waited so long to close out, especially when we wanted a second round. Sincerely disappointed with you Nouvelle. We won't be back any time soon.
