I was told Dr. James Van Stone was a great vet. After seeing him in action a few weeks ago, I would have to agree. Alone he would rate a five. But I would definitely say he should leave his wife at home or in the car. My husband and I were asked by our neighbor to help with their horse. The horse was laying down. We are a local German Shepherd breeder, so you can imagine, we rely on having a top notch, well educated, caring, flexible and a quick decision making vet. Dr James and his staff are just that. We actually live in Brainerd, but travel the extra distance as the care we receive at Pierz Vet far exceeds any of the other vets we have tried in the area. Every greeting is with a smile.
