I am writing to formally express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding my recent experience with Dr. Blais, who performed my endoscopy at Virgina Mason in Seattle. I'm glad I was directed to Dr. Blais. I put my trust in his expertise and evaluation which resulted in being placed on the proper medications and successful surgery after years of gastrointestinal issues. Dr. Blais stated he wanted me to return to a better quality of life of which I am now on the pathway towards. I know my future, in his care, is hopeful now. Thank you, Suzanne Chan

We recently had a internal bleeding problem and was transferred from PeaceHealth hospital in Bellingham to The Virginia Mason with 80 pages of medical data after 10 mounts of bleeding episodes and data and we were given to this Dr. Blais for help. He did not read any medical charts of my wife, he was abrupt, and too busy to talk to us nor did he concern himself of our opinions or questions. I had an appointment with this doctor after years of gi issues and becoming tpn dependent. He was rushed, talked over me, and didn’t listen to my opinion when I disagreed with him. It wasn’t a discussion in the slightest, just him telling me what to do. No willingness to adjust his plan when I explained how those things didn’t work for me multiple times in the past.
