Pretty and tasty This place is just so pretty, almost too nice for a bakery. When I first walked in I thought it was going to be expensive. The place is gorgeous inside. Big, roomy, little tables and chairs, clean and lots of wonderful goodies to tempt you. (Hey, can I move in, Pierre's??) They make some mind blowing looking cakes for special occasions. But they also have an area where you can just pick up a cookie or a biscuit or two, or perhaps a slice of coffee cake

moldy goods Not only is Pierre's bakery an architectural eye sore on Milwaukee avenue with its vacant parking lot and awkward interior layout, I've received very poor service here (maybe because I'm not fluent in Spanish) and on my last visit I picked up some breakfast treats for an office party one of my co-workers showed me two spores of mold growing inside her mini cake. It made me feel sick to my stomach after already eating my breakfast. I for one am never going back here.

A Rare Gem in Logan Square I've been shopping at Pierre's Bakery on Milwaukee Ave for over 13 years. It's a true gem in our neighborhood, something you'd more likeyly find in Lincoln Park vs. Logan Square. Shhhhh! It's our little secret! You can find French, American and Hispanic pastries here; the staff is bilingual and always polite and helpful. Charming bistro tables throughout the store allow you to enjoy your treat there, or, bring it home to enjoy. They also serve gelato. Parking is massive and free! Stop in and give y... read more

Cute bakery for your sugary needs I wandered into Pierre's Bakery hoping to find some fresh bread. Alas, Pierre's is not that type of bakery. They do, however, have enough cookies and cakes to fulfill your most sugary dreams. The goods taste slightly manufactured, but when you are gazing at such delicious-looking cakes, pies, and tarts, it almost doesn't matter. This would be a great place to take some kids before letting them run loose at the park. Also a good place to buy a cake based on looks (kids party? anniversary? hol... read more
