I have 2 Pierce uncapping knives that I use annually. The last time I used one of the knives, I noticed that the cord was very frayed and that it wasn't heating up like it once did. I called Pierce to ask if it would be worth having the knife worked on. After speaking with the owner, Anura, he told me to send the knife in and he would look at it. I have owned a Pierce 203 control box hot knife for 4 years and have always been very happy with it's performance. I have around 35 hives and uncap around 125 honey supers over the course of the season. The 203 has been a real time saver. This year toward the end of my uncapping I noticed the 203 was not heating up properly and then quit heating at all. Have tried other uncapping tools but Nothing works as well as Pierces Hot knifes, love it & recommend to all. Customer service is fantastic. Great company to deal with.

I am in Australia. I had an issue with one of Pierce's Hot knifes & was unable to get any satisfaction from the Australian dealer where the knife was purchased. I sent Pierce USA an e-mail explaining my issue & not only did they respond almost straight away they were caring in their response & egar to solve the issue. After we worked though the detail of the issue, with being asked they have offered & now sent a new hot knife to me.
