My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Piedmont's! The soup of the day (a cream of potato with bacon and cheese) and the Steak Frites were both highlights, and having some chocolate Gelato at the end of the meal really filled us up. We wished we could have eaten more of the plentiful portions, but our stomachs were full. While it can be on the pricier side, there are some less expensive menu options available.
Brought the family here for Easter Brunch and it was fantastic. My Grandson had the French Toast with fresh blueberries. I had the ahi tuna with sting beans, sliced hard egg & olive tarpenard. My wife had the smoked salmon on a bagel with cream cheese. Everything was delicious. They also had a salad buffet and a dessert table.
We went here because it was convenient and we thought it was going to be really nice. We were sadly mistaken. They didn't have a few items from the menu but did not tell us until after we ordered and the food came with different side items. Food was cold, not seasoned and orzo was undercooked. Tacos were paper thin and did not taste good. Overall it is easy for this establishment to do better, the question is will they?
The atmosphere was very nice, and the server was top-notch. The New York steak was served warm, not hot, along with carrots. That meal over all steak was not as tender as I have had. The meal also included trout, which was warm and small portion, although in some 4 and 5-star restaurants, the portions are made for taste and not so much for leftovers.
