Waited 2 hours for my patient to be picked up and transported to ER to get her g-tube unclogged. Patient was in ER at 3pm to 4:15pm. Was told it would be a 3 to 4 hour wait to get back to the facility. The horror!! My patient hadn't eaten or had meds since we left the facility. Needless to say she was hungry and needed her meds. Meanwhile I'm watching PTAR EMTs standing around laughing and entertaining the hospital staff...REALLY!! FINALLY the ambulance shows up. And guess what time it was...9 o'clock pm!!!
