I'm not sure of other folks experiences why this place has lower reviews but based on my experience I'm giving the entire pediatric emergency room staff here 5 stars. My 10 year old has severe Grave's disease and has been in and out of this place since before her initial diagnosis. All the nurses are so sweet. They are awesome at what they do. I’ve called twice this morning to ask a question to pediatrics and both times I sat on hold for a long time. The first time I hung up and the second time I was determined to talk to someone but stayed on hold until it was disconnected or my call was ignored or whatever. It’s absolutely ridiculous I couldn’t even get someone to pick up the phone. Currently waiting for a non Piedmont urgent care to open instead.

I wouldn't take a dog here . The nurses and doctors are so so so so rude. From the moment we got to the back to the time we left was so uncomfortable and unpleasant. The male nurse even threatened to call CPS on me bc I was about to take my child some place else because of their rude and dismissive behavior. They treated us like we were trash.
