Dr. McHenry was wonderful today. It was my 1st time seeing him as he was injecting my hip. My ortho uses him for this procedure. He was kind, caring, efficient, and concerned about my well-being. He checked in with me every 3 seconds. I had zero pain with the injection. My previous one 2 years ago with another doc was super painful. Dr. McHenry was careful and precise...I highly recommend him! The staff was wonderful also!

I’m beyond upset with how Michael A. McHenry, M.D. treated me! His bedside manner was awful—super condescending and rude. He asked me, "What can I do for you?" with attitude, like...aren’t you the doctor? You’re supposed to be the expert coming up with a treatment plan to help with my back, neck, shoulder, and spine pain. I even explained the proactive steps I’ve been taking—like massage therapy, stretch therapy, and seeing a chiropractor—but he was zero help in coming up with a solution. Initially I believed that Dr. McHenry was willing to listen, and offer treatment plan solutions that considered my entire physical, emotional, and psycho-social history. Instead, I found him to be a boiler plate in his medical persona. Condescending, disrespectful and limited in his what I preceived about his care or concern for my well-being. I was referred to this hospital by Piedmont urgent care for an MRI on my knee. I had to pay two copay fees $50 at Urgent Care and another $35 for the orthopedic office. The staff seemed overworked the PA had bags under his eyes and non chalantly asked if I wanted an MRI when my knee obviously looked swollen and disformed. Then I was told I could leave no discharge paperwork just an empty hallway because everyone went to lunch. I found a desk clerk who told me I'd get a call from the MRI dept.
